Beauty Picks for Spring

Spring is always a highly-anticipated season for me. I love the milder seasons like spring and fall; I don’t care for summer and winter much. Unfortunately, we only get a few weeks of spring here before it starts to feel like summer, so I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I can! In celebration, here are some of my spring beauty picks.

TooFaced Sweet Peach Palette // $49
This is probably my favorite ‘warm-weather palette’ at the moment. It just screams springtime! I love the pink and peach tones for a simple daytime look, and the warm browns are perfect for more dramatic looks. It’s a fun palette to experiment with!

Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder // $10
I used to not be too fond of highlight, but my mind has certainly changed. I’ve discovered I prefer an understated highlight, and this particular highlighter gives a very pretty, subtle glow. It’s perfect for sunny spring days!

Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Nude Créme // $5
Though it may be expected, soft pink lips in spring is my go-to look. This lipstick is a beautiful nude pink. It smells fruity, and it feels great on the lips. I own a few of these lipsticks in different colors, and I must say I really like them! The packaging is gorgeous and they’re very affordable.

NYX Butter Gloss in Créme Brulee // $5
Glossy lips are my favorite. At least with more natural-looking colors. When you start to branch out into other colors of the spectrum, things start to get messy. Pink is a pretty safe color for everyone, and this NYX Butter Gloss does not disappoint! You have to layer it on a bit to get the color to show up, but once it does it becomes the perfect pale pink.

Wet N Wild Color Icon Blush in “Pearlescent Pink” // $3
I’ve really gotten into blush these days. It’s such a simple concept, but it livens your complexion in seconds. This blush has flecks of shimmer that brighten up your face, and I love the coral-y pink shade. Wet N Wild makes awesome products, and their blush is one of them!

These are just a few of my spring picks. What are some of yours? Let me know in the comments!
