I don’t know about everyone else, but I am stoked that warmer weather is finally arriving. In fact, I’m so excited that I decided to pick out my favorite spring lipsticks and show them to you!

1. Milani Moisture Matte Lipstick in “Matte Luxe”
This is my favorite out of the bunch. I like this one because of the orange color; it’s nice to wear in place of the typical pinks, reds, and neutrals. If you want to go bolder without stretching too far out of your comfort zone, I think this lipstick is a great pick.

2. L’oreal Colour Riche in “Peach Fuzz”
This is a nice, barely there lipstick. If you’re looking for a little shimmer without adding too much color, this one’s for you. It’s light, fresh, and looks great with minimal makeup.

3. NYX High Voltage Lipstick in “Tan-gerine”
I picked this one because it’s a fun twist on a nude. It has a peachy tone to it which is perfect for spring. This has the most difficult formula to work with out of all these lipsticks just because it’s so creamy. It takes a bit of work to get it to sit on your lips just right, but I love the color so it’s not a deal-breaker for me.

4. ColourPop Lippie Stix in “Frenchie”
This lippie is a great true red for warmer weather. It’s a nice change from the classic deeper red lipstick.

5. NYX Matte Lipstick in “Street Cred”
For all my girly girls out there, this lipstick is a good fit for you! This is a fun, bright bubblegum pink that is sure to make a statement. Pair it with bright eyes to make even more of a statement, or let your lips be the star of the show.

6. NYX Matte Lipstick in “Spirit”
If you’re in the market for a nude lipstick, this is a great option for spring. Instead of a brown undertone like some nudes have, it has a pink undertone. It’s perfect for a downplayed look or if you want to draw attention away from your lips.

7. ColourPop Lippie Stix in “Boogie”
This lippie is great for those who like bolder makeup looks. Even though it’s a bit dark, I think it’s a great spring nighttime option because of the floral purple color. But the best thing about this lipstick? It has glitter in it! It’s subtle but definitely noticeable, and I really love it.

These are my top picks for spring because all of these colors are warm and inviting just like the 70-degree weather! What are your favorite spring lipsticks?

Is it just me, or are the drugstore makeup brands stepping up their game? I picked up a few things at the store last week, and the Milani Everyday Eyes “Earthy Elements” palette was one of them. It was love at first sight. Terracotta eyeshadow? Yes please! It reminds me of the Georgia Red Clay I encounter on a daily basis. I just love the unique colors in this palette!

This palette has orangey-reddish hues, which is different from your typical “everyday eyes” palettes which usually consist of browns and neutrals. They have a variety of palettes in their Everyday Eyes collection ranging from your typical neutrals all the way to vivid pop art colors. Each palette is different from the next, so whatever mood you’re in, they have a palette for it!

The palette contains a mix of matte colors and colors with a slight sheen. The shadows are also very pigmented, especially the main orange color. I get about the same amount of pigmentation using a brush as I do my finger, which is pretty impressive. They blend easily and all of the colors mesh well together.

I have been a fan of Milani lipsticks for awhile now, and I am glad I decided to give their eyeshadows a try! Overall, I’m really impressed with this palette and can see myself picking up some of the others in the future. What are your favorite drugstore eyeshadows?
